Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a playwright, actor, director, producer and professor of St. Thomas University). Anna Silk was the daughter of both a British father as well as an Turkish-born mother from England. She appeared in many commercials when she was a child. In November 1999, Anna moved to Toronto for the purpose of advancing her acting career. She eventually moving in Los Angeles, California, in the following decade. Seth Cooperman, whom she had met in a Los Angeles actors' workshop earlier in 2007, was her husband in 2009. Anna was a convert to Judaism in the year before Seth Cooperman and Anna had been married in December 2010 in Fredericton. The couple got married in April 2011, they renewed their wedding vows with the traditional Jewish ceremony. Bo's relationship with Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was highlighted on CNN's list of the top Favorite TV Couples and was named the top Television Couple of the year 2013 by E!
